The Information BibliographyAt a very basic level, the annotated bibliography format is a collection of citations and other related information that make up the bibliography of a book. The term 'annotated' itself implies some form of annotation and, more specifically, that the references are included in alphabetical order by author. Annotations are usually combined with data, like dates or titles, but there are instances where the reference is merely an entry in the bibliography.The annotated bibliography format is used in some form by scholars and students of all fields. The broadest use of this format is in academic settings, where it serves as a tool for reference and research. In classrooms, the annotated bibliography is used to organize reading lists, and for students to use when working through a book or document. In scholarly articles, the annotations indicate specific resources used in the text, while in books the annotations are used to list the names of important authoritie s, as well as the information contained in the text. One of the least used formats of the ABM format is called single-author bibliography, which is the format used by many major publishers and is designed for general use.For the most part, the annotated bibliography MLA has remained unchanged since the original ABM format. The format is still primarily designed for reference and research, but there are exceptions to this rule. Living through some major tragedies has given me a greater appreciation for my relationships with my family and friends. Having close friends, a loving family, and good relationships with my coworkers are of highest importance in my life, along with my faith.
